Nature

The Hart Family

  • John and Tanya own lot G-23 in the new farm area of the Coves. They plan to build in a few years, but are currently living in Lenoir to care for their aging parents. They have 3 grown children, and 4 grandchildren. Together Tanya and John are raising their 11 year old granddaughter Emery.

  • Tanya is employed as a Nurse Practitioner at App State in Student Health, John previously owned T-Shirt Specialty, Inc., a state of the art screen printing and embroidery company in Hudson, NC. After 32 years of ownership, he sold his company to another family at the beginning of 2022.

  • John has worked in several capacities over the years including mechanic, sales, construction and business owner. He is an Inventor with 2 patents and several copyrights. He’s an Author, has played Men's Power Volleyball at the National level, and raced 600cc Motorcycles at the AMA Professional level.

  • Although John sold his printing company, he is still interested in being productive. Family being a top priority, along with his desire to help others, a level of flexibility was needed . Observing needs within The Coves Mountain River Club led John to start “Hart of the Coves” to fill some of those needs. Let him know how he can help.
